【Announcement】Guidelines for Reviewing the Graduate Thesis within the Department's Area of Expertise

Dear graduate students,

1.Students intending to apply for the 114-1 degree examination must, no later than Friday, September 12log in to the "Student Information System / Thesis and Advisor Information System" to register the research topics and objectives of their thesis. In addition, Students must submit the "Recognition Form for  Academic Field of Expertise", signed by their thesis advisor, to the departmental office to facilitate subsequent review of whether the thesis topic aligns with the department’s professional field.

2.After confirmation by the department, if there is a need for minor modifications to the research topic or research objectives, students can still make changes through the system. During the degree examination, the examination committee will reconfirm whether the student's thesis aligns with the department's academic field of expertise again. Those whose thesis has not been confirmed by the department as aligning with the department's field of expertise are not eligible to apply for the degree exam.

3.Also, Academic Research Ethics Course must be completed during the first year of enrollment, and students who do not pass the course will not be eligible to apply for the degree exam.
